Marked communications

Market communication  with Elhub and other Nordic systems are fully automated, ensuring that the journey is both quick and seamless. The system effectively identifies any errors or discrepancies, presenting them as task lists with corresponding actions for easy follow-up and resolution. This leads to efficient discrepancy management for users and faster settlements for end customers.

Product

The product-building module enables our customers to launch new products in the market at lightning speed. All settlement  in Moment is automated. Interactions between multiple modules manage the rating of metering points and any necessary corrections seamlessly. The data flow is message-based, which ensures an elastic and horizontally scalable settlement process. Settlement contracts for end customers are processed as soon as the required pricing and consumption data for the period are available. Users can track the status through the interface, and any reasons for incomplete settlements are documented and accessible in dedicated discrepancy lists within Moment. 

 

 Similarly, the billing process in Moment is fully automated and optimized for rapid invoicing. A billing contract ensures that all expectations for the current invoice are fulfilled before automation takes over to bill the end customer. The system includes functionality to integrate external expectations into the billing contract, enabling services unrelated to electricity supply to be invoiced together through Moment’s automation. This through-billing of grid charges and other transactions minimizes manual errors and reduces financial risk for our clients. Any discrepancies from registered expectations in the billing process are flagged for users and addressed manually before the invoice is generated.

Payment

Moment’s accounts receivable module is a key feature tailored for the energy sector, packed with robust functionality. It seamlessly imports transactions from various systems and settlement sources, and it’s integrated with most major banks, collection agencies, and distribution partners. 

 

The module consolidates all costs as transactions in the customer’s accounts receivable, including consumption-based, non-consumption-based, and fees, and invoices these through Moment’s automation—along with functionality related to payment administration, collection, and data transfer to accounting systems. Similar to other components of the system, Moment’s “Accounts receivable”-module provides a variety of automated processes, guaranteeing efficient handling of tasks associated with invoicing, payment, and collection.
